Konstantin Ebert to succeed Thomas Olemotz

The Supervisory Board of Bechtle AG has decided to extend the current Executive Board contract of Konstantin Ebert prematurely by three years until December 31, 2028 and to appoint him as the designated successor to the current CEO Dr. Thomas Olemotz. The formal resolution will be passed at the Supervisory Board meeting on February 4, 2026.

Thomas Olemotz's contract ends on December 31, 2026 and it is planned that he will remain in his role as CEO for the entire coming year.

Konstantin Ebert becomes new CEO at Bechtle

Konstantin Ebert has been with Bechtle since 2021, starting as a divisional board member and moving to the Group Executive Board on January 1, 2024. As COO, he assumed multichannel responsibility for the national markets of France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. The 54-year-old business administration graduate has international experience and is equally familiar with the IT sector from a consulting, manufacturer and system house environment. In the past, he spent four years in management at TeamViewer and nine years at NetApp in various international management positions.

"The early extension of his contract and his appointment as Chairman of the Executive Board recognize his achievements to date and, above all, underline the confidence that Bechtle will continue on its successful course under his leadership."

Thomas Olemotz: Almost two decades at the helm of Bechtle

Thomas Olemotz joined Bechtle AG in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. In January 2009, he succeeded founder Ralf Klenk, initially as Spokesman of the Executive Board and since June 2010 as Chairman of the Executive Board. In this role, the now 63-year-old was also responsible for the functions of Chief Financial Officer. From January 1, 2026, Christian Jehle as CFO will take over the responsibilities previously held by Thomas Olemotz. As Bechtle already reported on May 21, 2025, Christian Jehle's contract runs until December 31, 2028.
