Automatica starts with a new rhythm
At the start of Automatica 2022, the organizers announced the follow-up event for 2023.
618 exhibitors in six exhibition halls have been welcoming visitors to Automatica 2022 in Munich-Riem since today. This year, the trade fair for robotics and automation is being held together with the Analytika and Ceramitec trade fairs.
Promising start
Traffic jams on the access roads and crowds at the entrance turnstiles are the first signs of a good visitor turnout. The exhibitors have also made an effort: A first tour shows numerous exhibits to try out at the stands.
The organizers from Messe München used the start of the trade fair to announce a fundamental change: Automatica is to be held jointly with the "Laser World of Photonics" in future and change its timing from the even to the odd years. The next date will be June 27 to 30, 2023.
Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer, Managing Director of Messe München, is quoted as saying: "As manufacturing generalists, both Laser and Automatica offer solutions for all industries. And there are overlaps that can be expanded. Exhibitors and visitors to both leading trade fairs can therefore create added value in the future and thus make their trade fair presence even more valuable."
The double trade fair will be accompanied by the large-scale "World of Photonics Congress".
