ASS Maschinenbau arranges succession
Andreas Külschbach will join the management of ASS Maschinenbau GmbH in Overath on April 1. With this planned transition, the company intends to set the course for continued stable and future-oriented development at an early stage. After 20 years at the helm of ASS, Mr. Reinhold Ziewers will retire at the end of June.
"The past almost 20 years at ASS have been an exceptionally fulfilling time for me, and I can also look back on a total of 25 years in the INDUS environment. I am very grateful to have strategically developed, strengthened and technologically advanced the company together with the dedicated team. It fills me with great joy to now be able to hand over this responsibility into good hands," explains Mr. Ziewers.
The transition will take place in close coordination and partnership: Mr. Ziewers will accompany Dr. Külschbach during a transition phase and contribute his experience. With Dr. Külschbach's expertise from his previous position, ASS Maschinenbau GmbH will ensure quality and continuity and at the same time create space for new perspectives.
Mr. Ziewers has played a key role in shaping the company over the past two decades. With entrepreneurial vision, strategic clarity and great personal commitment, he has created sustainable structures, driven innovation and successfully positioned the company in the market. Growth, internationalization and the continuous further development of the mechatronic service portfolio bear his signature.
According to the company, Dr. Andreas Külschbach is an experienced leader who will provide new impetus and at the same time build on the company's established foundations. Dr. Külschbach stands for modern leadership, strategic development and a clear focus on innovation, efficiency and sustainable growth. Together with the dedicated team, he will actively shape the next steps in the company's development.

My aim is to work with the entire team to further expand these strengths, provide new impetus and lead the company sustainably and successfully into the future. I would like to use the coming months of the joint transition phase to pool knowledge and experience and derive the right steps from this," says Dr. Külschbach.
