Starting signal for new administration building
Strengthen location, optimize processes
Kullen-Koti has started construction of its new company headquarters in Reutlingen. The international Koti Group is thus strengthening its German production and sales location. The separation of administration and production for transport reasons is now a thing of the past, and the company is opening up great scope for far-reaching process optimization.
The ground-breaking ceremony has taken place and the excavators are already at work: with an investment volume of around five million euros, the company is sending out a signal that it is securing its location and setting the course for further growth on the German market. One strategic focus is on further strengthening the portfolio of die-cut brushes. These brush types are among the technical all-rounders and prove to be versatile construction elements in mechanical engineering and metalworking, for example, as well as practical helpers in the food and beverage industry.
With the new building, Kullen-Koti is creating over 3,000 square meters of additional floor space and bringing all administrative and technical departments closer together and closer to production. The development, design, application technology and work preparation departments in particular will benefit from this. The three-storey building will also represent Kullen-Koti's new company headquarters and will therefore also be home to the management and staff departments. All departments will have ample space with plenty of potential for the operational and personnel development of the site. Completion and commissioning are planned for the end of 2019.
The construction of the new headquarters in Reutlingen is part of a long-term expansion strategy of the Dutch Koti Group(http://www.koti-eu.com), the central aspect of which is to strengthen its 14 international subsidiaries. The group is a family-run company and employs a total of around 650 people. It is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of technical brushes for industrial and trade applications. The German company Kullen-Koti GmbH has been part of the group since 2012 and supplies customers all over the world with brush systems for metalworking, conveyor technology, cleaning technology, the food industry, building technology and many other areas of application. he company employs around 200 people at the Reutlingen site. pb
