Ziehl-Abegg records record year 2023

Ziehl-Abegg, manufacturer of electric motors and fans, closed the 2023 financial year as the most successful year in the company's history.

The company achieved sales growth of 9.5 percent to 955 million euros and the largest single investment in the company's history. Ziehl-Abegg also intends to set the course for sustainable global growth with a newly developed strategy and a structural realignment.

International activities expanded

"This is the best year in the company's history," explains Dr. Marc Wucherer, CEO of Ziehl-Abegg. One highlight of the year was the ground-breaking ceremony for a new plant in the USA, an investment of 100 million euros. At the same time, Ziehl-Abegg started construction of a new plant in Vietnam and commissioned a new production facility in Poland. Production will be established in India in 2024. In Germany, Ziehl-Abegg has invested more than 30 million euros in improved machinery and automation technology.

ZA2030 strategy: emission neutrality, sustainable products and transparency

In view of the continuous growth, Ziehl-Abegg is adapting its internal structures: The reorganization provides for a division into four geographical areas: Central Europe, EMEA, APAC and the Americas.

Ziehl-Abegg is also pursuing the following goals with the ZA2030 strategy: Emission neutrality, sustainable products and complete transparency regarding environmental impact.
