New direct drive series

The automation specialist Weiss from Buchen presented various products from the rotary tables, transfer systems and handling sectors and focused on direct drives.

In line with the demand trend for direct-drive rotary tables, the Torque Rotary Table TO in various sizes is one of the products worth mentioning for Weiss. The direct-drive rotary table TO is freely programmable and enables extremely short switching times with high repeat accuracy. The manufacturer also offers a cleanroom-certified version for air cleanroom class one. Direct drives are also a feature of the new LS Hybrid transfer system: it delivers 20 percent more output thanks to faster cycle times.

The further development of the proven LS 280 transfer system is based on a combination of mechanical cam drive and direct drive. The modular concept means that different requirements can be met precisely within a single line. pb
