Hub gearbox

Wheel drive for industrial trucks

With the NG 1000 WO hub gearbox, Dunkermotoren, a brand of Ametek, presents a gearbox for driverless transport systems such as AGVs and AMRs. The abbreviation WO stands for "with Offset" and describes the characteristic offset of the gearbox in relation to the attached motor.

The design of the gearbox is matched to the brushless BLDC motor BG 95. The combination of motor and gearbox requires an overall height of just 95 millimetres and enables vehicles with a particularly low underride height and a minimum width of 600 millimetres. Thanks to the axle offset, the drives can be arranged side by side when integrated into the vehicle. This increases the load capacity and acceleration capacity of the vehicle and ensures a narrow chassis.

The transmission can carry up to 1,000 kilograms per wheel and transmits acceleration torques of up to 160 Newton meters. The power of the BG 95x80 can therefore be fully utilized and the gearbox is no longer the limiting component. As with all drive solutions from Dunkermotoren, the NG 1000 WO can also be flexibly adapted to special requirements in terms of speed control, wheel diameter and more.
