Development environment for drive systems
RS Components has recently started offering the K4 kit from ebm-Papst for the development of drive systems. The compact K4 system is aimed specifically at design engineers, application engineers and developers. It accelerates the development and implementation of motor control solutions.
RS Components has worked closely with ebm-Papst to demonstrate the potential of K4 drive motors through the DesignSpark engineering community. Numerous contributions are available on the DesignSpark website. They demonstrate the user-friendliness and flexibility of the drive system using a series of typical application examples.
The new system enables highly flexible solutions with which various control functions can be programmed and uploaded, even if a motor is already installed. In addition, a simple development controller helps to interact with the K4 motor and Drive Studio software. The software is supplied with the kit and allows the control strategy to be visualized during the development phase.
