Maxon is launching several new products in spring 2020. The new EC-i 52 Power up, for example, meets the demand from customers in the field of industrial applications that require additional torque power.
The new version of the EC-i 52 brushless DC motor now achieves a torque of up to one Newton meter. This is thanks to the improved cooling effect, which leads to an increase in power - the ventilated version of the EC-i 52 Power up achieves 420 watts of rated power.
Maxon has also developed a rotor for flat motors in which the rotor housing is produced using a cold forming process. The result is the more powerful and more cost-effective EC 45 flat Power up flat motor, which is available in two standard versions and two new versions with an open rotor or ventilation.
Also brand new are the brushless ECX Torque motors, which have a diameter of 22 millimetres and are available in three different lengths. Thanks to their iron-core winding and multi-pole rotor design, they achieve a high torque density at a moderate speed. as
