Sigmatek expands its Asian business with sales partner Sumitomo

Sumitomo Heavy Industries, part of the Japanese Sumitomo Group, is now distributing the complete range of automation systems from Sigmatek in the Land of the Rising Sun. Together with the new partner, the Austrian manufacturer is further expanding its Asian business.

The two partners are jointly pursuing a long-term strategy of working intensively with Japanese machine builders to further improve their national and global competitiveness through the use of high-quality, space- and cost-saving automation solutions and to establish Sigmatek as a strong brand for "Smart Machine Automation" in the Japanese market.
