New generation of master terminals
With the PLM 800 master terminals, Sabo Elektronik presents a new generation of its master terminals and compact systems.
The terminals have an ARM quad-core processor, touchscreens for target visualization and allow customer-specific programming in Codesys V2 and V3 in accordance with ICE 61131-3. With a complete PLC, the user receives elements for convenient operation and monitoring of automated controls and control tasks in complex systems.
The master terminals, microprocessor and fieldbus modules are designed for control and regulation systems with decentralized I/O nodes. They implement communication via various automation and building technology interface standards as well as modern web technology. The web terminals are suitable for web-based operation and monitoring. PCs, tablets and smartphones can also be integrated.
For I/O expansion, the master terminals can be equipped with several expansion modules at the rear, which are themselves connected via CAN bus. The extensions offer up to 54 I/Os. Another option is to expand a PLC CAN master with Sabo's own CANopen I/O modules. The PLM system components are designed for applications with Industry 4.0 aspects. The combination of integrated VPN and firewall ensures secure communication for remote maintenance and cloud connection. A later 5G integration is planned.
