The exhibitors spoke of the high quality of the discussions with trade visitors and once again emphasized the importance of the trade fair for the entire automation industry this year. In addition to intensive technical discussions at the trade fair stands, users and decision-makers were also able to find out about the latest technologies and get answers to their questions in specialist lectures and product presentations at the forums and on the guided tours.

Despite the current tense economic situation, most companies are optimistic about the future and regard the SPS as the leading trade fair for smart and digital automation. The number of exhibitors with their own stand space was greater than ever before this year.

In addition to the new products, solutions and use cases, there were the aforementioned guided tours on the topics of machine learning and AI, predictive maintenance, industrial security in manufacturing and cloud ecosystems.

It is not only the new name SPS - Smart Production Solutions - that reflects the development of the industry. In addition to functions from the IT world, such as machine learning, digital twins and cloud and big data technologies, the topic of security played a particularly important role.
