Endrich presented an overview of its portfolio of active components at Embedded World. In the area of displays and embedded systems, the company presented display systems from DLogic, including Linux-based touch display computers that are used in many different applications. The focus is on industrial and medical requirements thanks to high temperature ranges, long-term availability of 7 years and high robustness.

IoT application examples

Prototypes of the new docking station series are being tested in collaboration with Faytech. The modular system decouples the display unit from the embedded PC unit via an interface that transmits backlight and touch signals as well as video signals. This enables a wide range of display sizes with scalable computing power.

In terms of semiconductors, the new collaboration with SPI flash manufacturer GigaDevice is worth mentioning. The latter is developing a 32-bit ARM controller line (Cortex M0+ to M4), a low-cost, high-performance and partially pin-compatible alternative to components already available on the market.
