Servo controller
Intelligent drive and motion control
The new SVTE-A series from Servotecnica serves as a servo controller for motion control of brushless servomotors, stepper motors and brushed DC motors.
In automation, every drive needs a suitable control concept: when it comes to high precision and dynamics, servo drives are an advantage. The SVTE-A series is particularly suitable for applications in low-voltage or battery operation, such as in automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and portable applications.
4-quadrant operation with brake energy recovery
"Our motion control systems are characterized by their compact design and high power density," reports Christian Becker, Managing Director of Servotecnica. "They are therefore suitable for applications in the smallest of installation spaces and are suitable for both top-hat rail and control cabinet mounting." The servo controllers operate in 4-quadrant mode with brake energy recovery. They offer integrated PLC functions via analog inputs as well as digital inputs and outputs. They also have connection options for fieldbuses.
All models are equipped with the CanOpen DS301 and, depending on the device profile, DS402 interfaces, and can also be supplied with EtherCAT and Profinet options. They support the following encoder systems: Incremental encoders, digital Hall sensors and sine-cosine encoders. The operating temperature range of the servo controllers is between -40 and +70 degrees Celsius. The power supply varies between 35 amps nominal current and 100 amps peak current in a voltage range of 9 to 60 volts.
