Automation trade fair to take place in early July 2021

Together with the exhibitors, the organizer Untitled Exhibitions has decided to postpone All About Automation in Friedrichshafen from March to 6 and 7 July 2021.

An exhibitor survey revealed a majority of around 90 percent in favor of the July date. "Exhibitors and visitors would like to return to face-to-face trade fairs. We know that a trade fair that is not too large and has a regional catchment area offers the very best conditions for being physically present for customers again with a manageable level of infection and an appropriate protection concept. However, based on the current situation, the outlook for March is too uncertain to be able to plan reliably," says Tanja Waglöhner, Managing Director of Untitled Exhibitions.

The trade fair date at the beginning of July is outside the summer vacation period in the visitor catchment area of the Friedrichshafen trade fair. The All-About-Automation trade fair year will therefore start at the beginning of May with the trade fair in Hamburg, which has been postponed from January to early summer. The schedule for the regional trade fairs for industrial automation now looks as follows for 2021:

- Hamburg, May 05 + 06, 2021, Hamburg Messe
- Heilbronn, May 19 + 20, 2021, Redblue exhibition hall Heilbronn
- Essen, June 09 + 10, 2021, Messe Essen
- Friedrichshafen, July 06 + 07, 2021, Friedrichshafen Exhibition Center
- Chemnitz, September 22 + 23, 2021, Chemnitz Exhibition Center

Tanja Waglöhner: "The smaller formats such as All About Automation mean less effort for exhibitors and visitors, they focus on personal consultation and do not depend on the internationality of the visitors. These trade fairs can be more flexible and thus provide timely impetus for the industry. This is where the direct interaction between suppliers and users that is so important at trade fairs will be the first to be realized again. We look forward to offering the automation industry this opportunity at five locations in Germany from May to September 2021."

For as long as necessary, the tried-and-tested hygiene concept will apply to all All-About-Automation trade fairs. It will be adapted to the current situation and its implementation will be checked by the responsible authorities and the independent certification company SGS.
