Trade fairs in Hamburg and Heilbronn canceled for 2021

The All-About-Automation trade fairs planned for May 5 and 6, 2021 in Hamburg and May 19 and 20, 2021 in Heilbronn will not take place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is still unclear when and under what conditions trade fairs will be possible again. Even though the regional trade fair format of All About Automation is less complex, it requires several months for visitor marketing campaigns and organizational trade fair preparations by the organizer and exhibitors. The lack of planning certainty has now led to the cancellation of the two trade fairs for 2021. Hamburg's All About Automation will take place again on January 19 and 20, 2022. The new date for the Heilbronn edition is May 18 and 19, 2022.

"We very much regret the cancellations. Especially the postponement of the premiere in Heilbronn. With over 100 exhibitors, the trade fair was almost sold out - despite Corona. Confidence in the performance of the aaa trade fairs is high. But at the moment, uncertainty prevails as to whether it will be possible to successfully hold trade fairs in May. Exhibitors and we need to start making immediate preparations now. This requires more planning security than is currently available," says Tanja Waglöhner, Managing Director of the organizer Untitled Exhibitions.

The All About Automation team is reacting flexibly to the situation and is adding another location to the program for September 2021. Hesse will now also have a regional trade fair for industrial automation on September 8 and 9 in the Rittal Arena in Wetzlar with a "Special Edition" of All About Automation.

The aaa organizers have deliberately decided against a purely virtual trade fair format. The aim is to expand offerings that extend the physical trade fair into the digital world and prepare for it. Waglöhner explains: "At their core, all-about-automation trade fairs thrive on individual consultation, initial contact, building trust through personal discussions and the holistic trade fair experience. This analog powerhouse is irreplaceable. At the same time, we have all gained extensive experience with digital formats in recent months. We will increasingly use these opportunities to prepare for the trade fair visit, provide information about highlights and create a community. This is where our aaa digital plus offering comes in."
