Thanks to the IP65 protection class, the stable multi-touch display with hardened real glass front and its dust-proof housing, an AC Node is suitable for industrial applications even in harsh environments, according to the manufacturer. Despite the metal housing optimized for passive cooling, an AC Node weighs less than ten kilograms, which simplifies the installation of the maintenance-free devices. They can be mounted either upright or suspended to ensure optimum positioning at the workplace. Expandable memory, flexible power supply, a wide range of interfaces and the optional RAID system for fail-safe operation are additional plus points.

Tailor-made range
The range includes the pre-configured Basic, Value, Value Pro and Performance models, which have a 21.5-inch display as standard. Atlas Copco can adapt the touchscreen size to customer requirements and the equipment of the AC Nodes depends on the user's requirements. A powerful Intel Core i7 CPU, 512 GB hard disk storage with up to 32 GB RAM and an integrated RFID scanner are standard on the top Performance model.

In terms of connectivity, the AC nodes enable industrial image processing in the production line and offer easy access to all interfaces. In addition to WLAN and Bluetooth, eight digital inputs and outputs, which can be cascaded up to 64 if required, characterize the next generation of human-machine interfaces for maximum quality. According to the manufacturer, special configurations are also possible to give users the greatest possible flexibility. as
