Ergonomics
Better jobs in the industry
Bott is presenting an exemplary production landscape at Motek.
A supply rack with picking and disassembly workstations, a manual assembly line including an end-of-line test system and a single workstation for the production of special products. The exhibits are based on the Avero workstation system. Elution Two Assembly from subsidiary Elabo is used as digital assistance software.
Ergonomic workstations
The overarching theme of the stand is active measures to combat the shortage of skilled workers in assembly. The Bott Group is pursuing two different approaches: Existing employees are to be protected with ergonomic workstations, while tedious secondary tasks are to be replaced by digitalization. In this way, the company wants to preserve the workforce from a health perspective and give skilled workers more time for activities that require the expertise of experienced employees.
On the other hand, the digital assistance system is designed to ensure that new employees are trained quickly and sustainably. The system can be individually adapted to the skill level of the respective employee. As a result, it offers a tailored level of relevant support for each user in order to complete tasks efficiently.
