High-performance damping elements for energy dissipation
To dampen movements in industrial machines and systems, Norelem has functional and universally applicable structural dampers in its product portfolio. These are maintenance-free, suitable for emergency stop and continuous applications and have a long service life. They are supplied ready for installation with a special fixing screw and offer a good price-performance ratio.
The robust damping elements are resistant to microbes, seawater and chemicals and have very good UV and ozone resistance. They are suitable for use in a temperature range from -40 to 90 °C. The dampers are available in axial damping, axial damping soft, radial damping and radial damping hard versions. Depending on the variant, the material hardness is either Shore 55D or Shore 40D. The energy dissipation is up to 73 percent with a dynamic force absorption of up to 35,000 N. The radial designs enable very long and soft deceleration with increasing energy reduction at the end of the stroke. am
