Formnext 2019
Proven and world premieres for additive manufacturing
Stratasys will be presenting industry-ready additive manufacturing solutions at Formnext (November 19-22), including new hardware, materials and software. These new solutions will be announced in advance of the trade fair and presented for the first time worldwide at Formnext.
Exciting developments in numerous applications will be demonstrated at the Stratasys stand. Furthermore, current customer components from various industries, such as automotive, aerospace and consumer goods, will be presented. Visitors can learn how Stratasys customers are using PolyJet and FDM additive manufacturing solutions to optimize the efficiency of the entire product development process - from highly realistic concept modeling and the creation of fully functional prototypes to tooling and production of final parts. The Formnext booth will showcase several new application examples and visitors will learn more about how Stratasys customers are increasing time, productivity and cost efficiency throughout the development and manufacturing process.
Comprehensive range of 3D printing solutions at the stand
For visitors who need reliable and reproducible industrial-grade additive manufacturing, Stratasys will offer live demonstrations at the booth. The company's Fortus systems are production-proven "workhorses," and the large-format F900 offers several production-ready materials with key properties required for final part certification.
Also on display will be the Stratasys F123 series of 3D printers, including the F370 and F120, which combine FDM technology with the intuitive GrabCAD Print design-to-print software. The recently launched F120 offers greater access to industrial-grade additive manufacturing than ever before. Supported by simple controls and exclusive and highly reliable 3D printer hardware with high reliability and reproducibility, the F120 is available at a very competitive price.
Stratasys will continue to demonstrate live the latest PolyJet 3D printers with unique multi-material and full-color capabilities. This technology has recently been fully validated to Pantone specifications, enabling designers and engineers to produce unrivaled realistic and complex multi-component prototypes in a single print run.
Keynote presentations from Stratasys customers: Tuesday, November 19
At this year's Formnext conference, visitors can hear from a selection of Stratasys customers about how they are driving the adoption of certified 3D printed parts in the aerospace and mobility sectors.
Visitors will learn from André Bialoscek, Head of Vehicle Physical Integration Hennigsdorf at Bombardier Transportation, how Stratasys' FDM additive manufacturing technology can be used to produce certified spare parts for the rail industry in German-speaking countries. On Tuesday, November 19 at 10:30 a.m. on Stage 1, the presentation "How the Rail Industry Can Benefit from Additive Manufacturing" will focus on how additive manufacturing opens up opportunities to produce customized spare parts in the rail industry and accelerate companies' vehicle maintenance at much lower costs.
Also on Tuesday, at 3:30 p.m. on Stage 1, there will be a keynote presentation by Dr.-Ing. Andreas Henneberg, Specialist New Manufacturing Technology at Diehl Aviation, entitled "The Potential of Additive Manufacturing for the Aircraft Cabin'". Dr. Henneberg will demonstrate how the company recently produced and installed the largest ever fully 3D printed component on a commercial aircraft and the implications this has for the future adoption of additive manufacturing in the aircraft cabin.
