Teledyne Dalsa launches the Linea Lite line scan camera family, designed for a wide range of machine vision applications.
The new Linea Lite cameras are 45 percent smaller than the previous Linea models. Based on a new proprietary CMOS image sensor from Teledyne Dalsa, the new cameras build on the success of the original series of cost-effective, high-quality Linea line scan cameras.
Linea Lite cameras have been developed for flexible use in a wide range of applications and offer customers the choice between a high-full-well mode or a high-responsivity mode, which can be easily configured via gain settings. The cameras are available in 2k and 4k resolutions as monochrome and bilinear color variants. Linea Lite has all the key features for use in line scan camera applications, including multiple regions of interest, programmable coefficient sets, PTP (Precision Time Protocol) and TurboDrive. With its GigE interface and Power over Ethernet (PoE), Linea Lite is ideal for applications such as rechargeable battery inspection, optical sorting, print inspection, packaging inspection and much more.
