Successor company for automation solutions founded
Vision On Line GmbH, founded on June 1, 2023, will continue the previous activities of Cretec Cybernetics with a sharpened business model.
Effective solutions for tasks of all kinds in the areas of quality assurance and robotics, entire machines and plant sub-systems are the focus of Vision On Line, based in Langenselbold. The company was founded on June 1, 2023 by Andreas Schaarschmidt and succeeds Cretec Cybernetics, whose expertise already lay in the system integration of vision, robotics and automation technologies. Oliver Herrmann was appointed as the second Managing Director with effect from July 1, 2023. As a mechanical engineer, Herrmann brings with him extensive design expertise in the integration of components into compact vertical solutions.
Many years of experience, young experts and a dense network
Co-founder and sales manager Joel Hurley can look back on over 20 years of experience in analyzing and implementing projects. The Vision On Line team offers customers the right mix of many years of experience, competent young experts with a creative spirit, external technology partners and the necessary network to develop and implement high-performance systems for quality inspection exactly according to customer-specific requirements.

"Our practical experience in distribution, as a component manufacturer and from the design of various sub-systems for mechanical engineering results in considerable added value for our customers, which manifests itself in the fast, reliable implementation of tasks in economically successful and technically high-quality solutions."
Combination of image processing and robot technology
A strong focus of Vision On Line is on systems in which the combination of image processing and robot technology enables 2D and 3D applications such as the precise gripping of crates as well as solutions for separating, recognizing and picking up objects. Partnerships with market leaders in robotics and manufacturers of proven image processing hardware and software form the foundation of Vision On Line. Customers already have access to available solutions, such as an AI-based 3D vision system for automated picking and sorting in the logistics sector for depalletizing cardboard boxes and bags, as well as a high-performance 3D bin-picking system for randomly picking products in a container.
