Stratasys is using Formnext to showcase a wide range of new technologies, printers, materials and software.

Formnext is coming up in Frankfurt am Main from November 16 to 19. Sascha Wenzler, Vice President Formnext, spoke to Daniel Schilling about innovations from the exhibiting companies.

In order to be able to react quickly to changing production lines, additive manufacturing has long been an integral part of the production of automotive parts due to its flexibility. Around 80 percent of products can already be printed using selective laser sintering (SLS).

The advancement of 3D printing in aerospace is driving efficiency in the value chain and solving problems in production. Scott Sevcik, VP Aerospace at Stratasys, describes why this technology is so popular with major OEMs and numerous suppliers.

Evonik has developed two new photopolymers, Infinam RG 3101 L and Infinam FL 6300 L, for industrial 3D printing.
