Differential pressure testers
Testing in the fourth generation
With the new Cetatest 825, Ceta Testsysteme presents the fourth generation of differential pressure testers.
As the successor to the x15 series, the x25 series offers a wide range of technical innovations. The housing in four height units has a seven-inch touch screen with an intuitive user interface and enables a wide range of information to be displayed (e.g. measurement curve display). Operation is possible both via the touch screen and via a dual jog dial. Separate start/stop buttons ensure operating safety even in harsh industrial environments.
By combining the advantages of a real-time capable micro-controller system for measured value processing and an industrial PC architecture, there are various options for extending the functionality of the device, such as flexible configuration of additional test phases.
The integration of external sensors enables event-driven adaptation of the test process. The ring buffer stores more than one million measured values. A total of 256 test programs are available. The pneumatics have been flow-optimized and the intrinsic volume of the measuring circuit has been significantly reduced. Integrated safety functions are used to detect internal system errors. In addition to the usual industrial interfaces, there are bidirectional, wireless connections (Bluetooth, WLAN, NFC). A Ceta app for tablets/smartphones will also be available shortly. The x25 series will be fully interface-compatible with the x15 series.
The Cetatest 825 should be available in the fourth quarter of 2019. Further device variants (volume flow and mass flow measurement) and multi-channel devices will follow soon, according to the manufacturer. as
