Manage predefined measurement tasks

Polytec has developed the so-called "recipe" as a module extension to the Topmap family. It stores both data acquisition parameters and evaluation parameters for a measurement task. This means that even operators without expert knowledge can operate measurements and complex analyses with simplified user interfaces.

Manufacturing companies place high demands on optical surface metrology when it is integrated into the production line - especially in the event of unexpected production changes or in closed-loop production. Polytec has therefore developed the so-called "recipe" as a module extension to the Topmap family. It stores data acquisition parameters such as measurement position, lighting and camera parameters for a measurement task, as well as evaluation parameters such as post-processing steps, visualization and export options. These recipes make it possible for operators without expert knowledge to operate measurements and complex analyses with simplified user interfaces. As all steps are documented in terms of "how to measure" and "how to evaluate", they can also easily set up and monitor changes.

The "QC Operator Interface" software product is useful for production-related applications where several recipes are required. It manages several test specimens with individual recipes or the same test specimen with different types. Once the operator has defined a recipe, he can upload it to the user interface via the "QC Operator Interface". He accesses all recipes via selection menus and can clearly see the desired results such as numerical values, 2D/3D views or "pass/fail". as
