Sensors for construction and industrial machinery

At the Hannover Messe, Micro Epsilon Messtechnik presented sensor innovations and measuring systems for possible applications, including inclination sensors.

Precise inclination measurement plays a crucial role in ensuring a high level of safety and efficiency for construction and industrial machinery. The INC5502D dynamically compensated inclination sensor can be used to reliably align crane arms and level the crane vehicle, among other things. Inclination sensors can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. Depending on the alignment and position of the sensor, the measuring axes can be freely defined and the desired angles selected.

Integrated interfaces such as CANopen or SAE J1939 enable the direct output of measured values and the simple setting of sensor parameters. The sensors are suitable for use in construction machinery such as excavators or compactors), in agricultural and forestry machinery, harvesting and mowing machines, as well as in crane and lifting technology, for example on mobile cranes and working platforms. The sensors are also used in laboratory and industrial applications for the precise alignment of machine components.
