Ring lighting for harsh environments

Polytec, the image processing specialist from Baden, Germany, presents new IP68 and FDA-compliant dome and ring lights from its US partner Spectrum Illumination.

The dust and waterproof lights are designed for use in the beverage, food and pharmaceutical sectors as well as in harsh environmental conditions. Both stainless steel light sources are equipped with 24-volt DC high-power LEDs, providing the light output for which Monsterlight luminaires are renowned. Controllers for light control are included in the scope of delivery. The lights are available in five light colors, three shades of white and infrared.

The dome light has an internal diameter of 177 millimeters. It is designed to be self-draining in the event that liquid collects in the dome. The ring light was developed for long working distances and large fields of vision and has an internal diameter of 215 millimeters. Both lights come with a three-year guarantee. as
