Philip Bellm new CEO of Captron
Captron announces a change at the top of the company. Philip Bellm takes over the chairmanship of the management board as CEO. Reinhard Bellm will join the management team as CTO and Petra Bellm as CHRO (Chief Human Resource Officer).
Philip Bellm has been the second-generation managing partner since 2016 and is largely responsible for the expansion and internationalization of the company. His career at Captron began very early on with an apprenticeship as an electromechanic. In the following years, Bellm worked in several departments, successfully completed his business administration degree while working and, from 2006, was responsible for the design and further development of the current Ssortaster product generation as Product Manager.
In 2011, Philip Bellm took over as Sales Director and gave the company a strong international focus. He established the China site, a branch in the USA and another in Poland. Bellm also expanded international sales and the partner network worldwide.
"I look forward to working with all the employees in our global team to drive forward innovative solutions from our company," says Philip Bellm. "After all, these times in particular have shown how indispensable technologies and applications are that promote Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0, for example, or help people to travel more safely and easily on public transport. Such innovations are important factors for Captron's continued positive course."
The company's strategic development is based on three main pillars: Digitalization, globalization and customer centricity. Product development will focus on expanding digital expertise and linking software with hardware - also as part of global research and development projects. As part of this, Bellm also plans to focus its global sales and service structures even more strongly on its customers.
"We have every confidence in Philip to lead Captron and all employees successfully and sustainably in the future," says Reinhard Bellm. "His strong passion for the company and his visionary way of thinking make him a worthy successor and entrepreneur," added Petra Bellm.
