Non-contact testing
Measure undercuts optically
3plusplus has developed software for the non-contact inspection of undercuts. For this purpose, an optical profile sensor is integrated directly into the production line or into an out-of-line device.
Existing systems can be retrofitted. The 3plusplus software records and evaluates the data. The determined characteristics are then logged or exported. Separate testing of the undercuts in the laboratory is no longer necessary.
The modular principle for software development makes it possible to link the undercut measurement with other measurement and automation tasks. For example, other features of the measurement object - such as diameter and position - can also be recorded. The simple integration of the sensor and the measuring method significantly reduces the time and cost of undercut measurement.
