Industry 4.0 program

Andreas Mühlbauer,

Measurement technology, digitization solutions and services

Intelligent measuring devices collect a lot of data at field level. But up to 97 % of it remains unused. Yet it is the raw material for Industry 4.0. #empowerthefield, the Industry 4.0 program from Endress+Hauser, ensures that plant operators can exploit the potential of this data.

With the cloud-based IIoT ecosystem Netilion, you can easily start your digitalization project. Field-proven solution packages create a digital twin of the installed base and make it available on the move. Netilion allows users to monitor the device status and enables predictive maintenance. This allows processes to be optimized, system availability to be increased and costs to be reduced.

The newly launched high-end Cerabar and Deltabar measuring devices are suitable for the path to Industry 4.0. Heartbeat Technology ensures documented verification and creates the basis for predictive maintenance. The measuring devices can be easily configured and verified with the SmartBlue app via the Bluetooth interface. They can even cope with extreme application conditions. Intelligent functions and very good SIL values ensure maximum process reliability.

The extensive product portfolio for gas flow measurement with five SIL-certified, innovative measuring technologies enables a wide range of applications, precise measurement results and maximum safety in the process. From the smallest nominal diameters (DN1) to large exhaust gas stacks (DN12000), at high process pressures (up to 400 bar) or process temperatures up to 1,000 °C, the robust measuring devices meet all relevant industrial requirements.
