Air quality from the cloud
The RS brand, a global provider of product and service solutions for industrial customers, has added a new indoor air quality monitor to its range.
The device provides an easy-to-read display and accurate real-time monitoring of indoor air quality. Manufactured by ebm-papst, the IAQ monitor continuously evaluates five key factors that can affect people's health - particulate matter (PM2.5), carbon dioxide (CO2), volatile organic compounds (TVOC), temperature and humidity.
The device is also suitable for use in many facilities, such as industrial halls or offices. The cloud-connected IAQ sends notifications if the composition of the air poses a risk to health and transmits air quality data to a dashboard. This makes real-time information easily accessible via a cell phone app.
