New models
IDS cameras can recognize the smallest details
With the 20 MP IMX183 sensor from Sony, high-resolution images can be taken with low noise. IDS offers it in the uEye CP camera family with USB3 Vision interface.
The new models are suitable for demanding image analysis and are also compact thanks to their dimensions of just 29 x 29 x 29 millimetres. The rolling shutter sensor from the Sony Starvis series delivers a fast 19.5 fps and ensures outstanding image quality and true-to-life subject reproduction thanks to BSI technology ("back-side illumination") - even in poor or fluctuating lighting conditions. Thanks to the detailed and low-noise images, the camera is suitable for applications such as surface and display inspections, applications in medical technology or use in the transport sector. Integration into the uEye SE family with USB3 vision interface is already planned. In addition to housing versions, board versions with different lens holder options will then also be available.
The vision cameras can be supported by the new IDS peak SDK (Software Development Kit). It is based on the EMVA and AIA standards and can be used with all GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras - regardless of the manufacturer. IDS peak comes with numerous source code examples for a quick start. According to the manufacturer, the advantages include the "It's so easy!" programming interface developed by IDS programming interface developed by IDS, which eliminates the need to work directly with GenTL and GenAPI. In addition, convenience classes reduce the programming effort and minimize sources of error. as
