With the SRP 5000, Heidenhain is presenting a system solution that integrates the bearing, encoder and torque motor into a single assembly. This combination enables uniform motion control for positioning and measuring tasks.
According to the company, the angle measurement module with integrated drive is particularly optimized for the high demands of metrology applications. To this end, it has a high resolution and excellent repeat accuracy, even at varying operating temperatures. All individual components of the SRP 5000 come from the Heidenhain Group. The company manufactures the bearings and the high-precision measuring devices for the angle measuring module, while Etel supplies the torque motors including the AccurET controller. as
