RFID-supported manual lubrication system

The manual lubrication of machines and systems in industry is an important part of maintenance tasks.

The innovative LubeRight MKII system, a PC-supported solution based on RFID technology, plans, controls and monitors every single lubrication action carried out.

Each lubrication point is equipped with an RFID transponder that is read by a specially developed hand-held device. The system registers the actual quantity of lubricant applied to each lubrication point. The historical data for each lubrication point is retained and can be displayed for the lubrication personnel.

In addition to protecting the lubricated components (by avoiding under- or over-lubrication), the new, interesting working environment of documented lubrication work offers the personnel carrying out the work the greatest possible safety. The 2nd generation of the LubeRight system now presented offers a whole range of interesting new features. In addition to the planned lubrication quantity, the display now also shows the name of the lubrication point and indicates the lubrication points already processed and the tasks still outstanding in the lubrication round.
