Floor rollers instead of transport trolleys
For the intermediate storage of tray stacks or the transport of tray stacks within the production process, Hirata offers de-/palletizing directly from or onto floor rollers as a further option for its tray changing systems in addition to its tried-and-tested transport trolleys.
The use of floor rollers is recommended where space is limited. If a large number of transport or intermediate storage options are required, the use of floor rollers instead of transport trolleys is also more attractive for the user from an economic point of view. Both the SAST series palletizing system - small footprint, up to 250 kg stacking weight - and the AST series palletizing system - very narrow frame, high and expandable autonomy, up to 140 kg stacking weight - offer the option of palletizing or depalletizing trays or KTLs directly from or onto standard floor rollers. Palletizing directly onto floor rollers means that the internal logistics chain is not interrupted. The worker is only tied to the palletizing system for a short time to change the floor rollers. During this time, the trays continue to be processed without interruption.
