The Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal (BGHM) has awarded HEMA Maschinen- und Apparateschutz the "Systematic Safety" seal of approval. Above all, the good cooperation of the workforce on the subject of occupational safety was convincing.
With the cooperation of all those involved, HEMA was able to introduce a professional occupational health and safety management system (AMS) that raises occupational safety to a particularly high level. The BGHM was impressed by the results and presented Managing Director Steffen Walter and Safety Specialist Sebastian Becker with the "Systematic Safety" seal of approval on behalf of the entire company.
The seal of approval is awarded to companies with up to 250 employees for the successful introduction of an AMS. Only 500 of the 200,000 members of the employers' liability insurance association have been awarded the seal. HEMA employee Sebastian Becker learned about the benefits of the system during his training as a safety specialist. HEMA's management was quickly convinced that an optimized system and organization of occupational safety was the right way to go: "We want to ensure that our employees come into the company healthy and leave it just as healthy - every time. Together with the BGHM, we have supplemented and restructured our existing occupational safety processes and paved the way for continuous improvements," confirms Managing Director Steffen Walter.
HEMA managers and key multipliers were provided with practical knowledge on occupational safety through the AMS. The main results are improved transparency and clear responsibilities. The BGHM, which continuously monitored the measures, was impressed by the team's noticeable commitment and great curiosity for occupational safety issues.
