The optoelectronic mini sensors from the BOS Q08M and BOS R01 series require little space. Their scanning range and hysteresis can be set easily and precisely directly via IO-Link without time-consuming adjustment of the distance between sensor and object. They also provide information such as diagnostic data and operating hours.

Another example is a new optical multifunction sensor. It combines four optoelectronic sensor principles in one housing and can be easily switched via IO-Link to use the most reliable detection method depending on the application. The detection signals are already prepared and pre-processed in the sensor.
