MVTec has been active in the Chinese machine vision market for more than ten years. The medium-sized company now wants to serve this market even more intensively, as it is one of the most important markets for MVTec due to its great growth potential. Together with its long-standing Chinese sales partner Daheng Imaging, the company intends to further develop the market.

As in many other countries, MVTec will also establish both sales models in China, i.e. serve customers both directly and via its established sales partner Daheng. In this way, the company intends to make optimum use of synergies on both sides. The two companies will increasingly complement each other and benefit from even better market access in other industrial sectors.

Easy access to machine vision technologies in China

MVTec's Chinese subsidiary is based in the German industrial park in Kunshan. It serves as a sales office, but also offers technical support and thus enables intensive contact with local customers. Thanks to the new subsidiary, companies and users in China will benefit from even easier access to the latest machine vision technologies and functions. These include deep learning, embedded vision, 3D vision, matching, identification and measurement.

The grand opening of the branch is scheduled for July 3 at the MVTec booth during Vision China Shanghai 2020. Trade fair visitors are cordially invited to visit the stand and take part in the celebrations. The office in Kunshan can already be contacted by interested parties.

"As a leading international manufacturer of standard machine vision software, we will continue to make a significant contribution to the development of the Chinese machine vision market. We see China as a strategic growth market and are demonstrating our commitment by opening our own Chinese subsidiary. Through our long-standing, successful sales partnership with Daheng Imaging, we have established an excellent market position that we want to further expand together," explains Martin Krumey, VP Sales at MVTec.
