Manufacturer-independent platform for robot components
Toolify Robotics has developed the manufacturer-independent Xito platform for robot components.
This allows automation applications to be implemented flexibly and cost-effectively. At the virtual Xito user conference on October 28 and 29, the company will present the Xito Challenge in addition to user reports and expert discussions. The prize is a free implementation of the individual application as a prototype on site.
Challenge us! - asks the Xito platform confidently. Xito is a marketplace for robot components and automation solutions. It can be used to put together robot solutions for every individual problem in production, just like a modular system. "The easiest way to automate with robots," says Dr. Dennis Stampfer, CEO and founder of Toolify Robotics. "We therefore specifically target small and medium-sized companies with a small budget."
The decisive advantage: Xito is manufacturer-independent. The modular system ensures compatibility between the various providers and manufacturers and the matching services. Xito helps with the selection of suitable products and partners. This allows robotics applications to be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
The Xito Challenge will also be presented at the upcoming Xito User Conference on October 28 and 29, which will take place online free of charge. Interested parties simply have to describe their problem or challenge that robots should take on, for example in production, assembly, internal logistics or order picking. The winner will receive a free implementation of their specific application as a prototype to try out on site, including specialist advice from experts from the Xito platform. Participation in the challenge is also possible in the run-up to the event.
Perfectly tailored to requirements and budget
"We want to prove to small and medium-sized companies that the introduction of automation with robots is extremely simple with our Xito system," explains Dr. Stampfer. "Xito provides them with a range of robot components that can be easily combined with each other. Optimally matched to the task, according to the respective operational requirements and the available budget."
Toolify Robotics was able to attract renowned speakers for the user meeting: Thomas Bauernhansl, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA and the Institute for Industrial Manufacturing and Factory Operation IFF at the University of Stuttgart, Thomas Pilz, Managing Director of Pilz, Dr. Johanns Baumgartl, Daimler TSS and Torsten Woyke, Managing Director of i-botics - WMV Robotics and many more.
In addition to presentations on the current state of the art and the Xito Challenge, users will report on the introduction of the robot solutions and their experiences with the Xito modular system. Users will receive plenty of inspiration for their participation in the Xito Challenge through examples.
