Hanover Fair 2019
Universal Robots presents e-Series
The Danish manufacturer Universal Robots is presenting flexible automation solutions at the Hannover Messe. The new e-Series will be presented for the first time.
Using practical examples, visitors to the Universal Robots (UR ) exhibition stand at the Hannover Messe will learn how industrial manufacturing processes can be future-proofed with their help and individually adapted to the needs of users and employees.
The UR trade fair stand is divided into four areas: Machine loading, assembly, packaging and palletizing and material processing. The focus will be on the e-Series, which will be presented for the first time in 2019. The latest generation of robots from UR is certified in accordance with ISO 10218-1 and its safety functions are classified as category 3 PLd in accordance with ISO 13849-1. Visitors can experience the challenges that can be overcome with UR robots in demonstrations. In the "flashlight application", for example, three UR3e robot arms work together and present guests with a flashlight engraved on site.
"To enable even inexperienced users to program our robots independently, we have created a virtual classroom with the Universal Robots Academy. We want to expand this concept even further and will also be presenting an innovation in this regard at the Hannover Messe," says Managing Director Helmut Schmid about the "UR Academy" training concept.
