Mobile base
The vacuum base for measuring arms and measuring devices from Witte is used in quality assurance. This self-sufficient vacuum base with integrated vacuum generator and control elements provides the measuring arms with a solid base at the point of use.
The manufacturer has now further developed the vacuum foot, which can also be used on free-form surfaces, and has added some new control elements and optimized others. A digital pressure switch is now responsible for precise vacuum control, which maintains the operating vacuum at a safe level without any loss of vacuum. Instead of a mechanical pressure gauge, the current vacuum value is shown on a clear display. The upper and lower limits are fixed and ensure that the base remains stable.
The device is battery-operated and a controller monitors the charge status. A charger is included in the storage and transport case for recharging. Various threaded holes are provided in the top plate for attaching a wide variety of measuring arm brands or their threaded adapter rings. In this way, Witte has created the basis for optimum measuring results and extended the mobility of a measuring arm to include additional options. pb
