It was specially developed for demanding machining operations. Its higher base jaws, in combination with a selection of system and top jaws, enable complex workpieces to be clamped with optimum accessibility. A quick-change spindle system allows the chuck to be quickly adapted to new tasks. Thanks to the drive concept, the new Rota THW3 2+2 power chuck enables centrically compensated workpiece clamping of any geometry - from round and cubic to bulky parts. Equipped with a patented seal and permanent lubrication as well as a quick jaw change system, it manages the balancing act between low maintenance and short set-up times while offering consistently high clamping forces.

Schunk will also be showcasing its new modular grow automation cells (image). The turnkey, CE-certified complete solutions are intuitive to operate, flexibly adaptable and specially designed to automate manufacturing processes. Whether for laser marking or parts separation - Grow enables companies to optimize their production without extensive prior knowledge. |as
